Yangnyom Tak (Korean Chicken Teriyaki)

Most often korean chicken teriyaki yangnyom tak is served as main dish. It is best prepared by saute. No matter whether you are an iron chef or a novice, you will find korean chicken teriyaki yangnyom tak easy to prepare. Korean chicken teriyaki yangnyom tak! undeniably delicious and a well loved korean food! It is considered high protein food.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 6 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of red pepper paste
  • 5 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp of vinegar
  • 1 tsp of hot sauce
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp of minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp of minced ginger
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp of oil
Directions:
Cut the chicken thighs in to bite size pieces then set aside
About the Red Pepper paste
This paste is specific to Korean cooking
I can’t really think of a substitute, but you should be able to find it easily in a Korean market
Combine the rest of ingredients, except oil and mix well with the chicken
It’s best to use your hands to really get the sauce into the meat well
Marinate meat for at least 1 hour
Heat pan to medium or medium high heat, add oil and fry chicken until lightly browned
Serve with steamed rice
